Part A — Expression of Interest form — is complete and applies now. It is the only personal data we currently collect, and it accurately describes what happens to it.

⚠️ Part B — the MSP Pulse Service — remains draft, pending legal review. The Service is not yet generally available and Part B is an outline of intended practice, not a binding statement. It will be replaced with a solicitor-reviewed version before the Service opens to customers.

Part A — Expression of Interest form

This part explains what happens to the information you give us when you complete the Register your interest form on this website.

A1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Stuart Howard, trading as MSP Pulse, Ireland. You can reach us about anything in this policy at support@msp-pulse.com, and our full postal address is available on request.

A2. What we collect

Only what you type into the form, plus a small amount of technical data:

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics on this website.

A3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

Our lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). We use the information to:

Contact you about early access to MSP Pulse, and about the product's progress;
Decide what to build and in what order;
Understand the size and location of the market we are building for.

We will not add you to a general marketing list, sell or rent your details to anyone, or use your information for anything unrelated to MSP Pulse.

A4. Funding and grant applications

We may apply for enterprise support or grant funding — for example from a Local Enterprise Office or Enterprise Ireland. Where we do, we may use aggregated and anonymised information drawn from these submissions: for example, how many businesses registered interest, the countries and company sizes represented, and recurring themes in what people told us.

We will not share your name, email address or company name with a funding body, or quote you in an identifiable way, without asking you separately first. If we would like to name you or use something you wrote as a quotation, we will contact you and ask, and you are free to say no.

A5. Who else handles it

We keep the number of third parties deliberately small. Those involved are:

Cloudflare — hosts this website, provides the spam check (Turnstile) on the form, and stores the submissions in its database service. Cloudflare acts as our processor under contract.
Our email provider — used to notify us that a submission has arrived and to reply to you.

Both are bound by contract to process the data only on our instructions. Where any transfer outside the European Economic Area occurs, it is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

A6. Where it is stored, and for how long

Submissions are stored in the European Union. We keep them until the earlier of:

you asking us to delete them, or withdrawing your consent;
twelve months after MSP Pulse becomes generally available, if you have not become a customer; or
twenty-four months from the date you submitted the form.

After that we delete them. If you become a customer, your details are then governed by Part B rather than this section.

A7. Your rights

You have the right to:

Withdraw your consent at any time — just email us and we will delete your entry. Withdrawing does not affect anything we did before you withdrew;
Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy;
Correct anything that is wrong;
Have it deleted;
Restrict or object to how we use it;
Receive it in a portable format.

Email support@msp-pulse.com and we will action it. There is no charge and we will respond within one month.

We do not make any automated decisions about you, and we do not profile you.

A8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Irish supervisory authority: the Data Protection Commission, dataprotection.ie.

Part B — The MSP Pulse Service (draft)

⚠️ The Service is not yet generally available. Everything below outlines our intended practice and is not a binding statement. It will be replaced with a solicitor-reviewed version before customers are onboarded.

B1. Controller and processor roles

For account and marketing data we act as a data controller. For the data our customers store in the Service about their own clients and end users, we act as a data processor on the customer's behalf.

B2. Data we collect

Account data — name, work email, company, and authentication details.
Billing data — subscription and payment status (card details are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and are not stored by us).
Usage data — logs and metrics needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Customer content — the operational data you enter (tickets, clients, assets, documents), processed on your behalf.

B3. How we use data

To provide and secure the Service, process billing, provide support, comply with legal obligations, and communicate essential service information. We do not run aggressive marketing sequences.

B4. Legal bases

B5. Sub-processors

We use third parties to run the Service, including Amazon Web Services (hosting, EU region), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (network and security), and email delivery providers. A current sub-processor list is available on request.

B6. Data location & retention

Data is hosted in the EU (Ireland). We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal and operational obligations.

B7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have rights to access, correct, export, and delete personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Data export is available at any time.

B8. Data processing agreement

Business customers who need a GDPR Article 28 Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for the customer content we process on their behalf can request one from us.
